Shower in a Box

Oh this is a fun one!  I am a sucker for any wedding shower, but this story is too cute.

So precious Shelby lives and works in Dallas and one of her co-workers, Amy, is based in Atlanta.  They have been wedding planning Amy's big day for months now!  Shelby and the fellow Dallas workers wanted to throw Amy a shower but given she is in Atlanta, they came up with the 'Shower in a Box' theme.  How fun!  Shelby is meticulous with her party planning details and never disappoints.  So when her boss saw everything Shelby planned, he decided to just fly Amy to Big D for a surprise shower!

And of course Shelby knew no party is complete without cake pops!  Their color scheme was yellow, teal, white and navy.  We went with the first three colors for sprinkle pops and then Shelby would use navy ribbon to tie on her adorable tags.

So I shipped the pops off to Dallas so eager to see what Shelby would do, and per usual, she did not disappoint! :)

Thanks, Shelby!  And best wishes to Amy and Rick!

Little Boy Blue...and Green!

Cake bites are the new treat for baby showers!  I remember years ago you couldn't have a baby shower without having petits fours.  Well now cake bites have taken over as the 'it' treat to serve at a baby shower.  So cute and delicious and perfect to pop one or two without feeling guilty. :)

I was excited to do this simple baby blue and green theme for a client's recent baby shower.  It is so classic.

Don't you think the white drizzle just gives it that perfect touch!

Best wishes to the mom-to-be and new baby boy!

Did the Easter Bunny Visit You?

Did everyone have a wonderful Easter?  Did the Easter Bunny make to your house?  What fun CakeWalk had this weekend playing Easter Bunny to so many people.  Check out all the fun treats we were able to deliver!

This was one of my favorite orders!  Sweet Michelle lives out of state but contacted CakeWalk about doing an arrangement for her daughter who lives here in Nashville.  No matter how old you get you still want a treat from the Easter Bunny. :)

These guys crack me up!  And I love that my friend Carolyn came up with the idea to do milk chocolate bunnies for her order too.

Thank you so much to everyone for letting CakeWalk be a part of your Easter.  Looking forward to many more holidays together!

Spring Chicks and Easter Eggs

Easter is just a few days away, and CakeWalk is busy as ever completing all these fun Easter orders!

Sweet Stephanie called and wanted to take cake pop treats for her precious daughter Ansleigh's Easter party at school.  She fell in love with the chicks and eggs and knew the kids would adore them!

Are these guys not the cutest things?

Thanks, Stephanie!  And Happy Easter to Ansleigh and all her little friends. :)
